Woodhaven is accredited by the international accrediting body CARF. In August of 2007, Woodhaven received its fifth consecutive 3-year accreditation for both our programs: residential, called Community Living, and our Day Program, also known as Community Integration. This outcome represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization.
It is important that Woodhaven be accredited by CARF to show that our programs meet internationally recognized standards for quality in rehabilitation services. To achieve accreditation, Woodhaven must go through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrate to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that our programs are of the highest quality.
CARF is an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
