Services

The Community Living Program provides opportunities for the men and women served by NBA Woodhaven to live independent and productive lives as active members of their community. The individuals we serve live in forty-five homes and apartments throughout Columbia, Missouri. Staff members serving as personal assistants provide support to meet the needs of individuals, helping them learn new skills and serve as positive role models.

Each individual's needs are matched with the amount of support provided them. Situations vary from 24 hour staff that provides support in basic daily needs to limited support met by occasional visits by staff to help with shopping, money management and other needs.

The men and women served by NBA Woodhaven are active members of the community. They enjoy living, working, and playing in Columbia . Some of them have jobs in the community in restaurants, offices, and retail stores. Many of the men and women we serve also choose to be members of local churches and other community groups.
